The Background
The RNOH Charity raises money to help the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital deliver world-class care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, alongside supporting its research and education work.
RNOH Charity came to us with a bold three-year plan and bigger ambitions beyond that. The goal wasn't a one-off ask — it was building the case for long-term, sustainable support.
The Brief
RNOH Charity wanted a creative partner to build and roll out a brand narrative that could generate unrestricted income. The campaign needed to live within the hospital itself, across Stanmore and Bolsover Street, and resonate with patients, families, staff and the wider community.
The Work
We started with a deep dive — RNOH's services, past campaigns, audience insight, and where their fundraising portfolio stood. That gave us the themes and territory to build a proper case for support, and from it, a single proposition: RNOH making the impossible possible. We also helped shape their wider fundraising plans for the portfolio going forward.
From that proposition, we developed a range of creative concepts. It needed to stand out, feel unmistakably RNOH, and explain what they do clearly — no jargon, no hiding behind clever lines.
Once we'd refined the creative together with the team, we designed a full suite of assets ready to launch: social, posters and banners across the hospital sites, and OOH assets that went out across the London transport network — driving awareness in the areas closest to the hospital where it would land hardest.
We also supported their acquisition and supporter journey planning, and built out forecasting for year one and beyond.
